Learn the basics of Oregon Medical Marijuana Act (OMMA), how it works, how to register, qualifying conditions, legal coverage for patients, caregivers and growers. Bring your questions!

Cultivation and Care

(Formerly Grow Club)

Restricted to current OMMA cardholders.

Discussion, sharing, learning with Compassion Center grow teachers and other enthusiastic growers—from novices to experts. Topics vary but will include indoor and outdoor gardens, cloning, pest control, hydroponics, and more. You will leave the class with written materials to help you with your growing! Classes held more frequently if the demand is there.

Medicine Preparation

Restricted to current OMMA cardholders.

$50/Compassion Center patients and $60/others. Pre-registration required.* No Refunds.

This workshop is packed with information on different ways to prepare your medicine, to ensure that you receive all of its available benefits. We will demonstration multiple types of extractions including: “bubble bag” hash making, oil/butter extraction for baking, and alcohol extraction for ingestion and topical use. You will leave the class with helpful written material and samples of the various extractions.
