We hold frequent classes that cover a variety of subjects, including:
- Introduction to the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act (OMMA)
- Cultivation and Care of Cannabis
- Medicine Preparation
We also regularly schedule meetings for patients and medicine providers to meet each other. Classes are normally held at our offices.
The Introduction to OMMA class is free to the public and is a great way to learn about the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. We charge a nominal fee for the other classes and some are limited to OMMP registered cardholders only. Call, e-mail or stop by the Compassion Center for updated class schedules and further information.
If you would like us to bring our presentation to you or just speak at a conference, to a small group or as part of another meeting, contact Keith McCann, our Executive Director, for special arrangements.
Qualified Compassion Center Clinic staff and volunteers are available for confidential support and information on the numerous aspects of medical marijuana such as:
- Registering with the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP)
- How to comply with various aspects of the law
- Obtaining medicine or starts
- Grow tips
- Healthy medicating techniques
and lots more! This is a FREE service. Call, email or stop by during office hours.
For patients with a qualifying medical condition, the Compassion Center Clinic provides the opportunity to see a compassionate doctor who will serve as an attending physician, as defined by and in compliance with the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act and OMMP’s Administrative Rules.
All patients must complete a Clinic Registration packet and provide necessary medical records. Fees apply. Call us at 541 484-6558 for more information.
